Stichting NAF-Netwerk Acrobats in the Netherlands constitute a vast group of enthusiasts. Over 1,500 acrobats train and perform on a regular basis. Inspired by legends as the Como Brothers and the Osmani's every major city has a place where experienced and starting acrobats are being trained. Since 1987 an international festival has been organised each year. Although the loose and informal atmosphere in acrobatic circles has always been pleasant, and functioning, after twenty years of expanding acrobatic activities growing numbers of acrobats were unaware of each other's activities. Therefore, in 1993 some acrobats acknowledged the need of an organisation to make information on acrobatics more accessible. Utrecht, central in the country, is now home to this organisation. It's name: NAF-Netwerk (Network of the Netherlands Acrobatics Federation).
